Hey, I’m Rio.
I am a Filipino, Trans Non-Binary person currently living on Wurundjeri Country in Melbourne. I have a passion for graphic and visual communication design and have a decade of experience working in the industry.
Over the last ten years I have worked as a freelance and an in-house designer for numerous design studios and creative agencies across Australia.
I have experience leading small design teams and working with a vast array of clients, from small grassroots collectives to large corporate organisations and brands. I have experience working across healthcare, higher education, the arts, retail and hospitality.
Cultural responsibility, inclusion and accessibility are foundational to my practice as a designer, and I enjoy working with individuals and organisations who share similar values.
